...or said differently, capturing and deploying the *value* of old-fashioned working & middle-class American *values* (that is, the hard-working, big-dreaming values that built Doowopolis in the first place) but with a modern spin... our goal is to build a marketplace of real goods & services where real work, effort, creativity, and contribution (from skilled labor & trades, to artistic & creative output, to all kinds of professional services, to the most random of "odd jobs"...) can be exchanged for experiential, entertainment, leisure, lodging, and other retail, hospitality, and consumer products (from unique resort & vacation experiences, to one-of-a-kind gifts & merchandise for your family & friends...)  there's just one catch:  no "centrally-planned" inflation, money printing, or bailouts to take the place of real creativity, real ingenuity, and real hard work;  no "central authority" interfering with the goals & plans of real small business owners & entrepreneurs in their own communities, distorting free markets & local economies, devaluing your life's labors, and pricing you out of the world you dreamed of and worked hard for.  instead, everyone will have an equal opportunity to create, contribute, earn, and enjoy - on their own terms.  the economy of Doowopolis is simply based on two things - hard work & big dreams - because you can't have one without the other, right?!
